Before you start the migration, you have to acquire SPB Migration Tool from Android Market.
To get the tool, please open Android Market on your device (requires Google account to setup) and search for "SPB Migration". You can also follow this QR code:

There are two possible ways to transfer your data:
Key advantages of this method are:
- Use this method if you have the internet connection on both devices set up (Wi-Fi or mobile internet).
- No storage card required.
- The data is encrypted with your password for online transfer.
To start the migration you would need the store application to be installed on your device.
To install the application:
- Open the download site mgrt.spb.com on your device in the default browser.
- Tap the "Accept and download" button.

- Tap the "Accept and download" button.
- When asked, use the hints to install the application.
- The store application will start automatically.
Key advantages of this method are:
- No internet connection required on the devices.
- Does not send user data over internet which is more secure.
Requires a storage card with at least 10 MB free space.
To start, you have to prepare the storage card. The preparation procedure will copy the store application onto the storage card.

- Tap the "Instructions" button:

- Tap the "Prepare Storage Card" button:
- Now remove the storage card from your and insert it into your .

- Select the "Migrate through web" method:
- Choose the PIN code:
Note: The data is encrypted with the pin code you provided. Your pin code is not stored anywhere and cannot be restored without entering the correct pin code. The uploaded data is stored on the server for 12 hours only or you can delete it manually at the last step. You can restore this data on your new device during this period only. - When asked, choose the internet connection to upload the data.
- You successfully finished storing. Write down the code for further restoring.
- Now run the Android application again.
- Start the file manager on your and find Symbian_mgrt.sisx on the storage card, then tap on it to start.
- When asked, follow the hints to install the application.
- The store application will start automatically after installation.
- Select the "Migrate with file" method:
- The application will collect and store the data to the storage card:
- Take the storage card off the device and insert it to your back.
- Now run the Android application again.
- Select the "Migrate through web" method:
- Choose the PIN code:
Note: The data is encrypted with the pin code you provided. Your pin code is not stored anywhere and cannot be restored without entering the correct pin code. You can restore this data on your new device during this period only. - Make sure the internet connection is available on your device.

- When asked, confirm acceptance to start the application.
- After the application started please follow the instructions.
- Select the "Migrate with file" method:
- The application will collect and store the data to the storage card:
- Take the storage card off the device and insert it to your back.
- Now run the Android application again.

- Click the "Restore" button in the Android application:
- Enter the access code shown by the store application:
- Enter the pin code that you previously provided for the store application:
- Hit the "Start" button:
Note: At this point you can select whether you want to restore the contacts as well. If you have your contacts synchronized with online services, it is better not to restore them using the migration tool and setup the direct sync later. - You are done:
- Check the contacts, text messages, call log and the bookmarks for the transferred items.
- Insert the Storage card into the device.
- Start the application. The application will show a popup saying that it found the migration data on the storage card. Hit "Yes".
- You are done:
- Check the contacts, text messages, call log and the bookmarks for the transferred items.
